Companion Animal Appointments
Upon arriving for your pet’s appointment at Aspen Veterinary Clinic, you will be greeted by one of our friendly Customer Service Representatives whom will get you checked in for your appointment. You may be asked to fill out paperwork or present any online forms that you brought with you so that we can have your most up-to-date contact and pet information. After checking in, please feel free to explore our lobby, enjoy our beautiful salt-water aquarium, peruse items for sale or help yourself to snacks and refreshments at our hospitality center. One of our highly-trained Veterinary Technicians will then meet you in the lobby, get your pet’s weight and escort you into an exam room. Once in an exam room, your pet’s Technician will take vital signs, record notes regarding your pet’s health history and ask you questions about the concerns that you would like the Doctor to address during today’s visit. Please remember to inform your Technician whether your pet is taking any medications or supplements and anything else you think is important for our medical team to know about your pet. The Technician will present all of this information to the Doctor and the Doctor will then meet you in the exam room to address all of your concerns. The Doctor will perform a comprehensive physical examination of your pet and answer any questions you may have regarding nutrition, exercise, behavior and training and discuss preventative medicine measures to keep your pet healthy as his or her needs change with age.
Large Animal Appointments
When you arrive at Aspen Veterinary Clinic with a trailer, please pull up to the left side of the building and stop at the gate so that you can check in with one of our friendly Customer Service Representatives and let them know that you’ve arrived. After checking in, our staff will open the gate so that you can pull your trailer around to the back so that the gate can be closed for the safety of your animal. We ask that you carefully unload your animals on the dirt or un-paved areas, so they don’t slip on the asphalt. A highly-trained Veterinary Technician will be out shortly to take your animal’s vital signs and record a thorough medical history. Your Technician will report all information to your animal’s Veterinarian and the Doctor will then come out to perform a comprehensive physical exam and develop a customized treatment plan. Once the Doctor has finished working with your animals, please safely load them back on the trailer and stop in with our Customer Service Representatives to pay for your invoice and check out before leaving the facility.
