Client Services Representative

Ideal Candidate:

Seeking an exceptional Client Services Representative for our busy five doctor veterinary practice, open seven days a week. We are an established, AAHA-accredited practice located in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona, a college town and mecca for outdoor activities.

Experience in the veterinary field is not a requirement, but having a strong customer service background would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service and support, making clients and their pets feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Greet clients warmly and professionally, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client records and account information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about services, treatments, and billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure smooth client interactions and workflow.
  • Handle client inquiries and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-based approach.
  • Support the team by going above and beyond to assist clients and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a love for both people and animals in all client interactions.

Position Details:

Job Type: Full-time

Expected Hours: 40 per week (4x10 hour shifts)

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, includes every weekend rotation

Work Location: In person

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
  • Experience handling payment processing and client scheduling systems.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and services.
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred).

We are a mixed animal practice with approximately 80% companion animal patients (including exotics) and 20% large animal patients, primarily horses. Services include internal medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, alternative medicine including acupuncture and therapeutic laser, equine sports medicine and lameness, equine surgery and dentistry, as well as livestock and small ruminant services. We have comprehensive diagnostic capabilities including in-house laboratory, companion and large animal digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and more.
