Lindsey Moecia is the lead veterinary technician at Aspen Veterinary Clinic. She trains and mentors all new coming assistants and technicians that arrive at Aspen, and is influential in building new protocols and training programs. Her team is very important to her and she continuously finds new team building strategies to keep her team motivated. Lindsey has just recently completed her associates degree in equine science. She has been in the veterinary field since 2010 and plans to make a name for herself within the industry.
Lindsey has a passion for large animal medicine and emergency medicine. Her desire is to obtain her specialty in large animal and emergency and critical care. Aside from working full time at Aspen, she also works as relief all over the state.
Lindsey enjoys and has a passion for livestock. She is a 4-H leader for a Coconino county 4-club as the market goat leader. She spends time educating children about nutrition, showmanship, market, judging, and fitting. She also has just been awarded arena champion in a barrel racing series that she has completed for the season, earning herself a buckle for the 5th year in a row among many other awards in barrel racing.
Lindsey is a member of the AVMA and AAVT and wishes to become more involved with more organizations within her field.
