Linnea Warlick, DVM
Originally from New Jersey, I grew up an animal lover and rode, competed, and worked in the equine industry. This experience fostered my love of veterinary medicine in all species. Always up for an adventure, I headed west to Montana where I earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and equine science from Rocky Mountain College. I received my degree in veterinary medicine from Washington State University. Prior to joining Aspen Veterinary Clinic, I completed an equine internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in New Jersey.
While in veterinary school, I was involved in research focusing on Exercise Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage (EIPH) in racehorses as well as canine neurology. I have had the opportunity to present my research at conferences including the Calgary International Equine Symposium and the International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology (ICEEP), as well as receive peer reviewed journal publication.
My veterinary interests primarily include equine sports medicine/lameness, imaging, and surgery. However, I am passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine as well, and strive for a wholistic, evidence-based approach to veterinary care. Outside of veterinary medicine, I take every opportunity to explore and enjoy the outdoors with my mini aussie Freyja. I am so excited to be part of the Aspen Veterinary Clinic team and meet all of your special pets!
