Jesse Saul, DVM
I was born, raised, and went to school in Colorado before setting down roots in Flagstaff.
I received both my Bachelors in Science in Biology and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. I have never been afraid of hard work and put myself through school working construction, building fence, and guiding whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River. Rafting is still one of my passions, and I hope to someday raft every section of the Colorado River. I still spend as much time outside as possible and enjoy hiking, camping, trail riding, and skiing.
I have known that I would be a veterinarian since the time I was in elementary school and I am very grateful to my family for all of their encouragement along the way. I feel fortunate to have inherited a love of teaching from my dad and step-dad, and an aptitude for medicine from my mom. I have a younger brother and an older brother, whom has two littles - Kyden and Kayana.
Most of my veterinary background is in emergency medicine and I especially enjoy surgery. In vet school, my primary focus was on large animals and I love working with horses and cattle as well as cats and dogs. It has been my lifelong dream to own a mixed animal practice and I couldn’t be more excited to own Aspen Veterinary Clinic. We have exceptional clients here at Aspen and we want you to know that we greatly appreciate that you have chosen us to take excellent care of your pets. It is our goal to exceed your expectations.
